You are all very welcome to DIT Gaelic Football Club.

Whether you are a first year just started college,  a postgrad student or mature student, if you are interested in Gaelic Football you should come and join our club. Apart from it being a great way to make friends in college, the club is run by students for students and prides itself in providing a friendly fun environment for all players both elite and recreational. We have  competitive  teams that cater for Minor Club players at Fresher level up to Senior Intercounty players at Sigerson level.

We have three Fresher teams exclusively for first year students, while we also field two teams in Division 3.  We also have an Intermediate team and a Senior team which competes in Division 1 league, O’Byrne Cup and Sigerson Cup. The club also have an active social scene with regular club events, trips and fundraisers. If you want to play, Coach , manage or just help out just send on a text with your details and we will get in touch. The key is to get involved, you won’t regret it.

Tag Gaelic Football or Peil Abú is a new non contact social football game aimed at everyone from beginners to recreational players. The Club run a Gaelic Tag program every Thursday evening during the first semester iin LArkin College around the corner from Cathal Brugha Street college for all DIT students.
